Advertised a cafe & room service on their website, but there was no food available. We had to purchase food for breakfast because there were no cafes or restaurants nearby.

Really comfortable roomy accommodation. Comfy bed and good facilities. My partner really enjoyed his steak meal from the restaurant delivered to our room too.

Rooms was spacious and bed was quite comfortable. Check in message received from property and made things very easy on arrival. Property was clean and tidy and easily accessible.

We didnt get room cleaned for 5days,but it was clean,we left it that way we emptyed the bin every day,we didnt have breakfast there,

A vast improvement on my last visit. Large rooms with balcony. As a family with young children, it is so nice to be able to get ajoining rooms.

Friendly staff, quick check in, nice room. There was a loud party happening in one of the rooms close to midnight and the manager was very prompt and firm at shutting it down.

We travel from Airlie Beach to Mackay 3 or 4 times a year, we will always book Mackay Oceanside Central Hotel now we've found it. Very clean and bright modern rooms. Very comfortable beds/pillows. Room service meals are fantastic. Nice and close to town, just a couple of minutes drive to shops etc, but not on busy streets as most of the similar priced motels. Looking forward to using the pool next time when we go in summer!
